How do you select your range of hospitals?
All of the hospitals available to book through MEDeTOURISM have been carefully selected by our specialist medical team, all of whom have trained and practiced in the best hospitals throughout the world.
Our aim is to reduce any fears you may have about traveling overseas for medical treatment and we stand by the quality of medical expertise available at each of our selected hospitals. Monthly checks are made with each medical service provider across our network of hospitals to ensure that equipment, staff and procedure are all up to our high-level standards.
If a hospital ceases to maintain the quality of care that we require, it is immediately removed from our service.
What does Plus Partner mean?
Our Plus Partners are those hospitals or clinics that provide extra benefits and privileges for our Plus Members. These privileges help ensure that your trip runs more smoothly and that your have every luxury afforded to you during your visit. What does Top Performer mean?
The top performer badge is applied to any clinic that consistently performs above the average of its peers. It is based on criteria including holding a consistently high user rating, high numbers of successful patients treated each month and whether it has attained the highest accreditation available for its region.
Can I cancel or amend my booking after it’s been made?
At MEDeTOURISM we understand that undertaking medical procedures, whether at home or overseas can be difficult to organise. There are healthcare centres to choose from and organising your time off from work or family can be difficult. We therefore permit cancellations or amendments to your booking any time up to 7 days before your procedure date without penalty.
If you need to cancel your booking, we only charge a small administration fee and then refund you any deposit that you have paid.
Do you charge any fees?
MEDeTOURISM always will be fee-free from patients. For the privilege of being listed with us, each hospital or clinic works on a referral fee basis. This ensures that we keep offering high quality, curated healthcare options while keeping patient costs to an absolute minimum.
How do I know that I’m getting a good deal on my healthcare fees?

How does MEDeTOURISM process payments?
MEDeTOURISM’s payment system is designed to make paying for your treatment as easy and secure as possible. Here’s how it works:
After you book in for a treatment, your healthcare provider has the discretion of when to request a payment and what percentage of the total cost they wish to charge. When a patient pays an invoice, we verify the payment and then pass it directly onto the healthcare provider.
This process ensures that both patients and healthcare providers are protected from fraud and are able to keep a record of their transactions.
Why should I pay and communicate through MEDeTOURISM directly?
Paying and communicating through MEDeTOURISM means that you’re protected under our Terms of Service, cancellation and refund policies. Our user-friendly patient dashboard ensures that it is easy to retrieve important booking information including payment history, location of your treatment centre, your status as a plus member as well as a history of any medical information that you have provided. Our system is in place to protect you, the patient, and by only communicating through our secure messaging system you ensure that all your conversations are traceable and in one place.
If you choose to pay or communicate outside of the MEDeTOURISM patient dashboard, it makes it harder for us to protect your information and puts you at greater risk of fraud and other security issues.
How do you keep my information secure?
We host our platform on some of the most secure servers available worldwide. Your privacy is paramount to us and we treat every part of your information with the utmost care.
If you so choose you can make use of our services to erase all stored information permanently so that once your procedure is finalised we will no longer hold on to your pre-operative form or any personal details.
