Since the expansion from 2007 when Centro de Combate a Cancer opened new headquarters located at Av. Brazil 678, an avenue in Sao Paulo, which has been consolidated as a center of high-quality medical services. This architectural design had two priorities: humanism and wellbeing, and in order to provide this there are large rooms, created under the premise of individuality, offering patients and family comfort and wellbeing in a pioneering structure in Brazil. The CCC is out of the ordinary because of its interaction between natural light and furniture, with ample space for movement and interaction, designed to meet the needs of patients and their families. It is a perfect place for relaxation because of the large waiting rooms and living areas with very comfortable sofas, music, magazines and art books, a cable TV system, WiFi, and pantry service, providing this way an intimate and personal atmosphere in which you can interact. In order to have the same organic and natural light travel into the rooms, the ceilings are high and the central span of the building, covered with transparent polyurethane plates that ensure light amplitude and the environment. Because CCC has covered all of the problems that may appear, a large modern elevator meets Brazilian law regarding accessibility for people with special need, ensuring more comfort for the patient. Also, as a finishing point to this construction details, the bathrooms were also designed to meet the needs of users of wheelchairs and those with disabilities, including bars 75 cm above the floor, handrails, sinks and toilets seats available. The Centro de Combate a Cancer is a well-equipped facility with all of the structural modifications for people with special needs and has a large team of doctors and nurses that are taking care of each patient, providing them whatever they need.
